About FocusDock

FocusDock is a compact browser-based focus timer and work tracker for focused sessions, breaks, and simple daily progress.

What FocusDock is

FocusDock is a focus timer built around work cards. The timer gives the session a boundary, and the current card keeps the work visible while the session is running.

It is designed to stay compact enough to leave open beside writing, design, development, research, or other solo work.

Why it exists

Many timers help you start a session. FocusDock is more concerned with helping you stay with the session after it begins.

The product keeps time, current work, breaks, and progress close together without turning the main surface into a full project system.

What FocusDock includes today

  • - Focus, short break, and long break sessions.
  • - Work cards with session targets and notes.
  • - Simple daily progress and completed work state.
  • - Compact Mini and Ultra Mini window modes.
  • - Local browser persistence for the current workspace.

What FocusDock does not include

  • - Accounts or cloud sync.
  • - Collaboration, teams, or shared workspaces.
  • - AI features, calendar integrations, or native apps.
  • - Billing, pricing plans, or project-management reports.

Local-first / no-account note

FocusDock currently works in the browser without an account. Your workspace is stored locally in the browser using the app's localStorage data.

That keeps the launch version lightweight, but it also means the current product does not provide account-based sync across devices.
